About the CouncilThe Public Council of Moldova was established on 11 November 2020 during a special session of the Expert Club “Strategy of Moldova”. The Council’s activities are aimed at discussing and developing public positions on the most significant issues of state development in the fields of science, culture, education, human rights protection, strengthening sovereignty, territorial integrity, as well as the spiritual and moral development of the multiethnic Moldovan people. The Council unites leaders and experts from more than 50 respected public and ethnocultural communities of Moldova, as well as specialists in economics, education, law, international relations, human rights, youth leaders, representatives of the clergy, and the media. The Public Council of Moldova contributes to the promotion of human rights, democratic values, and civic participation, while supporting the cultural, scientific, and educational development of society. Its activities aim to strengthen dialogue at both the national and international levels, in line with the principles of democracy and respect for fundamental freedoms. |
